Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Tendies (“we”, “us”) helps you keep track of when you last connected with people who matter to you. This page describes what we collect and how we use it. This policy is maintained by the Tendies team and is not an independent certification.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address and authentication identifier (or the identifier from Google / Apple sign-in).
  • Contacts you add: names, circle (Family, Friends, Business), custom nudge cadence, and notes.
  • Interactions you log: type (call, text, in-person, email, DM), direction (outgoing/incoming), and timestamp.

We do not import your device address book or read your call/message history. Every contact and interaction exists because you entered it.

How we use it

Your data is used only to run the app for you: showing your contacts, calculating who is overdue, and syncing across your devices when signed in.

Storage & access

Data is stored in our managed backend with row-level security so only your signed-in account can read or modify your rows. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Third parties

We rely on our hosting/backend provider to store data, and on Google and Apple when you choose those sign-in options. If you generate a calendar reminder, that event is created in the calendar service you pick.

Deletion

You can delete any contact from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we will remove it.
